reMarkable app in wine

I like the e-Ink tablets from reMarkable. Since model 1 I have been using them. I wish the whole system was a bit more open. While data can also be exchanged via ssh, many functions require the cloud services of reMarkable.

Unfortunately, there is no native app for Linux, but fortunately wine can now very well start Windows apps under Linux.

After the regular installation, the app did not work. The screen was not updated, only when the window was resized.

The reason appears to be that the app is based on QT and requires 3D acceleration. The solution was to make wine 3D capable. Simply install dxvk via winetricks, i.e. a Vulkan-based translation layer for Direct3D.

winetricks dxvk

After that, the app runs perfectly.

It would be great if there was simply a native Linux app.
